Golf Cart Permit Information

 

A person operating a motorized golf cart on designated Murray County roadways must have a valid permit. To view the Murray County Motorized Golf Cart Ordinance click here. 

Requirements For Golf Cart Permit:
Valid Driver’s License
Golf Cart Proof of Insurance
Cost - $30 per year, per cart. (Cash or Check Accepted)

Permits are not sold online or over the phone, applicant must be present in person to obtain a permit from the Murray County Sheriff's Office. Office Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30, no appointment needed.
