Hwy 59 detour in Slayton

Highway 59 Detour - May 2023 in Slayton

The Minnesota Department of Transportation is building two left turn/bypass lanes in the city of Slayton at 29th St. and 30th St.  The work began May 8 of 2023 and will improve safety and traffic flow. Construction is expected to be finished in June.

Access will be open to those who live, work or visit within the work zone; however, expect changes to access and gravel surfaces. For updated information, go to www.mndot.gov/d8/projects/hwy59slayton.
