Treasurers Report: Motion (06-09-08d) Moved by Larry Lanoue, seconded by Ted Haugen to approve the invoice for $4,741.84 to Hawkins for 40 days of chemicals. Motion carried unanimously. Motion (06-09-08e) Moved by Ted Haugen, seconded by Larry Lanoue to approve the invoice for $880.10 to Murray Co. for services from April 16-May 16. Motion carried unanimously. Motion (06-09-08f) Moved by Larry Lanoue, seconded by Tom Gervais to approve the invoice for $594.48 to the city of Currie for service from 4/1 through 4/30. Motion carried unanimously. Motion (06-09-08g) Moved by Larry Lanoue, seconded by Ted Haugen to approve the invoice for $1,937.00 to the State Auditors office for service. Motion carried unanimously. Motion (06-09-08h) Moved by Tom Gervais, seconded by Larry Lanoue to approve the invoice for $7,700 to Brown Excavating for monthly service. Motion carried unanimously. Financial report through May 31, 2009 was reviewed. A report was shared that with holding is required for travel expense. Ponds have been drained, reports on tests are good. Currie council requested a meeting to follow up on the results. It will be scheduled. Motion (06-09-08i) Moved by Larry Lanoue, seconded by Ted Haugen to apply for a discharge permit with MPCA/EPA. Motion carried unanimously. Motion (06-09-08j) Moved by Ted Haugen, seconded by Tom Gervais to not install a payment box at this time. Motion carried unanimously.
Engineers report: Motion (06-09-08k) Moved by Tom Gervais, seconded by Ted Haugen to approve the plan, process, and time table for moving lift station #3 with some proposed changes to the building. #1 Steel roof. #2 Insulated doors. #3 Stack for odor. #4 Possible steel inside instead of sheetrock. #5 16’ wide and turn the generator. #6 put 10x 10 overhead door on the end and move chemical area to the center. Latter would allow vehicle storage. Motion carried unanimously. Motion (06-09-08l) Moved by Ted Haugen, seconded by Tom Gervais to pay the invoice of $924.00 to Bolton/ Menk for services. Also request an update on all contractor reimbursements issues and amounts. Motion carried unanimously. Motion (06-09-08m) Moved by Tom Gervais, seconded by Larry Lanoue to reimburse Dave Brown for ditch and tile work at 90 South Shore Drive to correct a drainage issue. $300 max. Motion carried unanimously. Motion (06-09-08n) Moved by Ted Haugen, seconded by Tom Gervais to sign the purchase option with Frisvolds for $35,000. This will include property for shed to hold lift station #3, equipment, and road access. Motion carried unanimously.
Rate schedule. After much discussion a motion was made to do more research with a decision to be made at the next meeting. A delegation will meet with the county commissioners at 9:00 AM, June 16th, 2009 to follow up on this discussion. Next meeting is July 6th, 4:00 PM Meeting adjourned.
